            There are people who believe that a river is a god. Or a goddess. It’s called the Ganga. The believers are the Hindus. They think it originates out of the head of a god called Shiva. You won’t think with these sort of imaginative creations (or creators) being part of its collection, Hinduism might put up a fight with the major monotheistic religions of the world to claim the title of being the most rational religion or the one that makes the most sense. You take the latest from modern science ... medicine/physiology/genetics, nuclear physics/quantum physics and general relativity and whatever else you can put in the mix without appearing too wacko. You correlate this ' latest ' scientific stuff with some ' ancient ' wisdom . And you say that all this was already known to the ancient wizards living and meditating in the jungles. And then you've to do a very effective presentation about the 'new' insights you've gained into these...

That's how I would rate 3 Idiots. I am loath to apply different yardsticks to judge Bollywood and Hollywood movies. So, when I saw 3 Idiots, I immediately sought to measure it against the best of Hollywood that I had experienced. And I thought I could immediately name 10 Hollywood movies that are 10 times better and that I have seen multiple times and would continue to watch in the future ... I thought like every Bollywood movie, this movie was too long as well ... the jokes seems forced ... and not so funny. Let me mention a few random Hollywood movies that are my favorites ...
